ecstatic
life is strange... and yes i already knew that. i have a bagillion things to do and soo many problems hanging over my head. but i have a small bit of strange elated happiness. i think it started with random satruday...
okay so it wasn't even saturday, but it was close enough. i was off work as per my request. and i went to hang out with chris in boyds? i think that is what it was called.
well, i got there and we had planned to go and see willie wonka.
well, i thought it would be awesome if we went to see it in an imax, cuz you know how i am with tim burton, jonny depp, and omg, what is his name? composer... did batman, nightmare before christmas, big fish, OH YEAH danny elfman. anyway... but the closest imax that was showing it was. in... Harrisburg PA. so i meantioned it to chris. and a few hours later we were seated in an imax ready to watch wonka.
i told chris that we had to dress strangely if we were gonna go to such great lengths to see it. man, you should have seen us. i had on pin stripped pants with a red and black knee-high on my right leg and a short pink and purple cheshire cat sock on the left with some frankenstien doc martins. then i had on a red button up shirt with a tank top underneath that read "this is my unbirthday party not yours" on it it was from dark wonderland. and then a tie made out of a set of beads. i think that was it for me. well, chris truly out did himself. he wore a pair of blue jeans, black shoes. and a belt made from red, black, and white strips of cloth. then he had on a red t-shirt that read "you know you want me" or something like that. with a black button down shirt with long sleeves that had extended white cuffs on the ends that he didn't fold over or button. it was awesome. you should have seen the looks we got from people. we went to dinner at tgifridays or ruby tuesdays something like that.
anyway.
we sat there and i took forever to decide what i wanted. then when we got our food we were running so late, because of chris's price check on a fountain in pier one, that we asked for to go boxes and.. the check. this was as the food was being served. well we shoveled food into our mouths and i finally said we had to go or we would be late. so we shoved all of the leftovers into our individual to go boxes. chris realized that he was going to have to eat his with a fork so i said take this one. (the metal one) i finally got him to put it in his to go box and we dashed out the door.
we got to harrisburg in record time. mapquest said an hour forty one minutes. well we did it in an hour give or take. we bought the tickets. waited in line and watched the coolest movie in the best way possible. so awesome throughout the whole movie i kept smelling candy. wierd. we left and i got lost trying to excape the capital of PA. we made it out, or so we thought. after about 30 minutes of not knowing where we were. i pulled over and made chris go into this little convienience store and ask for directions. well while he was in the store i drove around it and found that there was a huge empty (since it was midnight) parking lot in the back. so what would any normal person do?
i did doughnuts in the back until this parol officer pulled up and scared the crap out of me. i stopped and waited for chris patiently. well, we ended up having to go north to end up in MD even though we were in PA. yeah i don't get it. whatever. so we finally got home. i don't think anything bad happened. i just made him watch just visiting. and then on monday. we went to college park ate at ledo's. this was after i had to go in for my drug test at the health center. that was interesting.
well we parted ways and i came home.. well attempted to get home i got lost in laurel looking for a non-existant gas station. so yeah. i finally ended up in college park again. and made it successfully home.
the next day i had to be at the shuttle base by 830 am. soo fun. i got there and had no where to park. so i parked next to the book exchange. and i saw a sign that said "no parking if construction" then it had date and time spaces that weren't filled in. so i parked any way and fed the meter enough for an hour and a half. i then marched to shuttle. across the frat row and whatnot. i got there went to the mva and got my provisional cdl. awesomness!!!
so i walked back to my car. i get there and i pass a whole bunch of buldozers and guys just waiting for something i then see my car sitting behind a dump truck. .. the only car on the street. this whole time i am talking to my mother on my cell phone telling her the good news. i then told her that i had parked on a road that had closed while i was gone. (only i could have done that) i got there just as the meter was expiring. this meter maid walked up to me as i was putting my bag in the car and said... "dont forget the meter." then walked away. i guess she thought i was just arriving. whatever. so anyway. i get in my car and i have no idea what i am doing. i get to the front of the road and there is a barrier.. not a jersey wall but one of those cylinder cone things that are filled with sand or water. and i didn't know what to do. i stopped my car. parked it in the middle of the road and then got out. i pushed the cone thing out of the way. pulled my car through parked it again in the middle of the road. got out and moved the thing back. got in my car and went home. what a load of crap.
anyway.
i worked and worked. nothing eventfull happened until today. i had a car payment due so i tried it online. which started this online session. i couldn't figured it out and made my dad call them since he had lost the actual paper bill. so i go and i'm checking my mail and whatnot.
i hope shley is having fun.
and i get on to facebook. and have to confirm an invite from this girl Melanie. well i knew the name. and i remembered this friend i had when i was in florida. but i figured that it couldn't have been her. so i check and... IT IS i was soo excited. she was my best friend when i was younger. then she moved. and a few years later so did i to here. so its been about 12 years since i last saw or heard from her. but then there she is on facebook wanting me to be her friend. i couldn't believe it. it was sooo awesome. i mean wow its crazy how life goes in circles. i never thought i would hear from her again.
its at this point in my life when i wonder. what is going to happen. and how bad is it going to be. something has gotta be coming that is truly aweful or i wouldn't have this ecstatic happy feeling. i guess if i view my life like sims, my social meter is full. hmmm. my hunger one is almost empty and i am in some definite need of comfort. man my green diamond isn't so green anymore. i gotta go. after all i can't fill my social meter any more. i better work on the others, before i get a demotion. or whatever.
